# Make a reusable set of word search worksheets.

Start with six editable worksheets and solutions. Replace the example vocabulary with your lesson words, adjust difficulty, and inspect the PDF before printing a class set.

[Start a six-worksheet set →](https://puzzlebindery.com/app#book/teacher-pack)

Try the Studio and watermarked proof free. Clean book exports cost $49 once, plus applicable tax. [Pricing and refund terms](https://puzzlebindery.com/#pricing).

## Inspect an example with its answer keys

[Open the complete worksheet proof](https://puzzlebindery.com/downloads/teacher-worksheets-proof.pdf). The starter uses example themes; it is not curriculum-aligned or a claim of learning effectiveness. Review and adapt it for your students.

## Watch the starter become a downloadable proof

This silent screen recording shows the actual Studio: open this starter, change the project name, choose Export PDF, select the watermarked export and download the finished file. It demonstrates the free proof workflow; it does not show a paid purchase or marketplace upload.

[Open or download the video](https://puzzlebindery.com/examples/teachers-walkthrough.mp4). The written steps below explain the workflow. Rename the project to organize your drafts; edit the title and puzzle content separately to customize the published pages.

## Inside the exported example

6 worksheets · 8 pages · US Letter

These are pages from the downloadable proof, including its PREVIEW watermark. Open either image to inspect the full-size page, or [download the complete PDF](https://puzzlebindery.com/downloads/teacher-worksheets-proof.pdf).

[![Word search puzzle page from the teachers starter proof, with vocabulary and PREVIEW watermark](/examples/teachers-puzzle.png)](https://puzzlebindery.com/examples/teachers-puzzle.png)

A real puzzle page. Check vocabulary, letter size and space for marking answers.

[![Matching solutions section from the teachers starter proof](/examples/teachers-answers.png)](https://puzzlebindery.com/examples/teachers-answers.png)

The answer section. Compare the first puzzle with its solution before printing or publishing.

The page count describes this saved example. Your edits, layout choices and added puzzles can change the final count. Examples demonstrate the software; they are not exclusive products or customer success stories.

## For repeated worksheet preparation

This workflow is for someone building and revising a set of activities, not simply downloading one sheet. Keep a project in the Studio, replace the vocabulary for the next topic, and export its puzzles and solutions together.

Only need one activity? Use the [free single word-search maker](https://puzzlebindery.com/word-search-maker). A paid book-export licence may be unnecessary for that job.

## From lesson vocabulary to a printable set

1. **Choose your vocabulary.** Replace the example words with terms you have already reviewed for the lesson and students.
2. **Adjust the challenge.** Review word count, grid size and puzzle settings. Inspect the actual output rather than relying only on the difficulty label.
3. **Choose the page size.** The starter uses US Letter. Select A4 in the Studio if that matches your paper.
4. **Review the solutions.** Export the proof and check the puzzles and answer keys. Print one page at actual size before producing a class set.

## Your reusable materials

Projects save in this browser. Export a project backup if you need to move devices or protect your work before clearing browser data. Do not put student names or other private student information into example word lists.

## Teachers and resource sellers have different needs

For your own classroom, evaluate whether creating repeated sets saves you useful preparation time. If you sell original teaching resources, the paid licence also permits commercial use under the [licence terms](https://puzzlebindery.com/commercial-use-license). You must own the material you add and follow the rules of your chosen marketplace. The tool does not certify educational outcomes or marketplace acceptance.

## Import vocabulary for several lessons

[Import your word lists →](https://puzzlebindery.com/app#import/wordsearch)

Opens the CSV importer in a new blank book. Try the built-in three-puzzle example or choose your own file; existing books are kept.

Watch the real Studio workflow: upload the sample CSV, check the three puzzles, then download a watermarked PDF proof. Silent demonstration; the written steps and sample files are linked below.

Prepare one titled word list per lesson in a CSV. Studio can import up to 100 word searches, check that every word fits, and assemble their answer pages. [See the CSV format, sample file and exported proof](https://puzzlebindery.com/word-search-book-generator#csv-import).
